Privacy Policy
This policy explains what LVToolbox Pro ("we", "us"), operated from Ontario, Canada, collects and how we use and protect it. We designed the Service to collect as little as possible.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, and sign-in timestamps.
- Your project data: device layouts, price books, floor-plan images or PDFs, site photos, and the customer names/addresses you choose to enter into proposals.
- Billing: handled by Stripe. We store only a customer/subscription reference and status — never your card number.
- Usage & technical: basic request data (e.g. IP address for rate-limiting and security) and feature-usage counts.
How we use it
To provide and secure the Service, process your subscription, send you your one-time sign-in links and proposal-acceptance notifications, enforce fair-use limits, and respond to support. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for advertising.

AI estimator & your data
When you choose to run an AI estimate, the notes and any site photos you select are sent to Anthropic's API to generate the draft suggestion, then returned to you. This only happens when you actively use the feature. Per Anthropic's API terms, data submitted through the API is not used to train their models. If you prefer, simply don't use the AI feature — everything else works without it.
Your rights & controls
You can, at any time from your account menu in the app:
- Export your data — download a complete copy of your account, projects and proposals as a file.
- Delete your account — permanently erase your account, projects, proposals and sessions, and cancel any active subscription.
Consistent with Canada's PIPEDA and similar laws (including GDPR where applicable), you may also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing us.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is removed from our live database. Proposals you shared for signature are stored until you delete the associated account. Backups may persist for a short period before rotation.
Security
All traffic is encrypted with TLS. Sign-in and session tokens are stored only as one-way hashes. Payments are handled by Stripe so we never hold card data. We apply strict content-security and anti-abuse controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Cookies
We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Children
The Service is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.
