Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of LVToolbox Pro (the "Service"), the design, estimating and proposal software available at app.lvtoolbox.com. The Service is operated from Ontario, Canada ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

LVToolbox Pro lets you place devices on a floor plan, measure runs and areas, price a job from your own price book, generate proposals and drawings, collect electronic sign-off, and optionally use AI-assisted estimating. It is a productivity tool for professional installers and contractors.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email (passwordless). You are responsible for maintaining access to that email account and for all activity under your account. One account is intended for one user or business. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. Subscriptions, billing & cancellation

The free plan is available at no cost with limited features. The Pro plan is US$49/month or US$490/year, billed in advance and auto-renewing until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. You can cancel anytime from the in-app billing portal; your Pro access continues until the end of the paid period, and partial periods are non-refundable except where required by law. Optional AI top-up credits are one-time purchases and non-refundable once used. We may change pricing on renewal with reasonable notice.

4. AI-assisted estimating

The AI estimator produces draft suggestions from your notes and photos. Suggestions may be incomplete or incorrect. You are solely responsible for reviewing, correcting and verifying every quantity, price and scope before relying on or sending any estimate, proposal or drawing. AI features are subject to fair-use limits and require an active Pro subscription.

5. Your content & ownership

You own the project data, price books, proposals and drawings you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display Your Content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to any floor plans, images or client information you upload, and for complying with privacy laws regarding your customers' information.

6. Professional responsibility

The Service is an estimating and drawing aid, not engineering, architectural, electrical-code, or legal advice. Outputs do not replace professional judgement, stamped drawings, permits, or compliance with applicable codes and standards. You remain fully responsible for the accuracy and legality of the work you quote and perform.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: abuse, overload, scrape, or attempt to bypass usage limits or security of the Service; reverse-engineer or resell the Service; upload unlawful, infringing or malicious content; or use the Service to harm others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk or excessive cost.

8. Availability & disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We keep local backups of your projects in your browser; you are encouraged to export important projects.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost business, or inaccurate estimates. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or end access for breach of these Terms. On deletion, your account data is removed as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notice in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
